Feeling Melon

Who the hell are you?
Just another dude who loves to talk a good game about music, movies, games and everything pop culture. My friends call me Clem (so can you now that you're my buddy), and I'm a 32-year-old advertising guru by day, entertainment aficionado by night.

I grew up in Singapore, lived in Singapore, and hang out around Singapore mostly (with the frequent travelling to the nearby states). Enjoy writing, discussing life's purpose like it depended on it. Love having a good cry, then a laugh, and then a cry again.

Nothing sets me more at ease than good whisky and some awesome companionship.


What do you go on endlessly about?
I've spent over a good 10 years in the music industry, and love sharing good music with anyone willing to listen. Secretly, it's an outlet where I can fully express myself through the type of sappy depressing music to which I'm addicted.

Ultimately, I'd like to start talking about my other indulges - movies, games, anime, photography, the list goes on. 



What the hell does feeling melon mean?
in 2005, i fell in love with a japanese woman manga known as Konjiki no Gash Bell! One of the characters was a sadistic psycho (whose head was shaped as the letter V) who loved to eat melons. Each time he ate a melon, he would burst into a happy song about how he'd feel very melon.

Since then, I've likened 'feeling melon' to meaning very happy. So if i'm sad, i'm actually not feeling very melon.

Are you sure there's no underlying connotation to feeling melon?
Yes. Maybe. No. Yes.


Why start a blog that no one will seemingly reads?
Well...... i'm starting this out as an outlet where I can write about stuff that keeps me up at night. I like to be heard (or at least pretend someone's listening!) Where do i wanna go with this? No idea! Sounds altruistic, but if even a single person find use in what i write about, then that's good enough for me!

I really do like a fair bit of writing, so what better than to start a blog! I'm pretty hideous in terms of looks so videos is a big no-no.


What do you do during the day?
besides feeling sorry for myself, i have a nice job in a creative agency that churns out kick-ass campaigns. prior to that, was in the music scene focusing on the entertainment and education side of things.
